Sequential approach of internal maxillary-to-middle cerebral artery bypass and endovascular occlusion for giant middle cerebral artery aneurysm: a case report

چکیده
Abstract Background The combined approach to complex brain ??? aneurysm seems be generally considered viable. Although it is fairly common, the combinations of modalities, which are suggested in different case reports, vary significantly. This discusses a sequential reconstructive microsurgery with internal maxillary-to-middle cerebral artery bypass followed by balloon test occlusion and endovascular embolization MCA. together use maxillary helped minimize intraoperative postoperative complications. Case presentation A 62-year-old female rare episodes headache depression revealed giant middle aneurysm. patient underwent operation hybrid operating room no serious neurologic deficit after surgery. Conclusions Multimodality management should fusiform MCA, associated high risks clipping. Thus, procedures will improve outcomes treatment aneurysms.

Spontaneous Complete Occlusion of Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysm: Case Report
There are few observation papers regarding the natural history of an aneurysm. We report on a case of a completely occluded middle cerebral artery (MCA) aneurysm. A 47-year-old female patient presented with a headache and was diagnosed with rupture of a right MCA aneurysm. Due to a high risk of direct neck clipping, she received conservative treatment after craniotomy and wrapping of her aneury...
متن کاملInternal Maxillary Artery-Middle Cerebral Artery Bypass: Infratemporal Approach for Subcranial-Intracranial (SC-IC) Bypass
BACKGROUND Internal maxillary artery (IMax)-middle cerebral artery (MCA) bypass has been recently described as an alternative to cervical extracranial-intracranial bypass. This technique uses a "keyhole" craniectomy in the temporal fossa that requires a technically challenging end-to-side anastomosis. OBJECTIVE To describe a lateral subtemporal craniectomy of the middle cranial fossa floor to...
متن کاملGiant serpentine middle cerebral artery aneurysm.
A rare case of partially thrombosed giant serpentine right middle cerebral artery aneurysm presented. A 26 year old man initially presented with headache and 3 months later developed neurological deficit. Various stages of clot with patent residual lumen seen on neuroimaging, led to the diagnosis. Catheter angiography is the investigation of choice for evaluating the location, flow dynamics and...
متن کاملResearch Paper: Optimization of Transient Focal Cerebral Ischemia Model by Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion
Introduction: Cerebral ischemia is one of the most common causes of death in human populations in the industrial communities. The need for animal models is inevitable to study the pathophysiology and treatment of cerebral ischemia in human. The current study aimed at evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of different techniques used to create ischemia in previous studies and optimizing the tr...
متن کاملEndovascular recanalization for chronic symptomatic middle cerebral artery total occlusion
The optimal treatment of chronic middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion is unclear. Angioplasty and stenting may be an alternative treatment for patients with recurrent ischemic symptoms despite medical therapy. Two patients with chronic right MCA occlusion successfully treated with stenting are reported, together with their long term follow-up to illustrate the feasibility of endovascular reca...
